    Hi there,

I work with Duplicator on several different sites and keep coming to the same problem.

In Step Two: System Scan, I alway shave a concern with Large Files and Total Size in the Archives section.
Most sites I work with are going to be large in size and I need all those files.

Is there anyway to bypass these errors? I’ve tried to package anyways and it ends up in a error anyhow?

This only happens to some of my sites, others who have the same size and errors sometimes do become a package and I am able to upload it to my local server no problemo… guess I’m just confused with the inconsistency.

Forgive me in advance if this is quite a newb question:)

  • Hi Ally,

It looks like your running into a possible timeout issue on your web server. This usually happens when the server your on terminates the PHP or web server process before it can complete. Here is a helpful section on the FAQs page that might provide you some workarounds:

? ? – What can I try for Timeout Issues?
    ? ? – https://snapcreek.com/duplicator/docs/faqs-tech/#faq-trouble-100-q

For quick solutions skip down to the section titled “MANUAL TIMEOUTS WORKAROUNDS”.

Let me know if that helps~

    Awesome!

Thank you Cory:) I had to call in and talk to the hosting provider to increase the PHP timeouts. That was exactly the problem. Thanks again for your help!
