    Hi,

I’m using the Pro version but I believe this issue applies to the free version too.

I just set up TA for the first time and was really impressed until it came time to insert affiliate link images (‘TA+’ button) into Gutenberg blocks. The ‘TA+’ button is missing.

    I have two options only:
    (1) Type text into a ‘Paragraph’ block. The ‘TA’ button is visible if I want to link a word or words to create a text link.
    (2) Insert an ‘Image’ block. (2a) Manually insert the correct affiliate image from the Media Library. (2b) Manually go to the block menu in the column to the right of the page. (2c) Manually insert the link URL.

Manually needing to perform steps 2a, 2b and 2c each and every time I insert an affiliate image reduces the value or ROI I paid for TA Pro. I’m not seeking a refund; I would like a TA+ button added, please, as I believed would be available before I paid for the Pro version.

Alternatively, and perhaps better still, maybe create a new ThirstyAffiliates block instead. There are other plugins available to increase the range of Gutenberg blocks available to us. Instead of adding a TA+ button to the Image block, why not just create a whole new TA+ block?

    Cheers,
    Tony

  • Hi Tony,

Thank you for getting in touch with us!

In our Thirsty Affiliates version 3.7, we’ve added a new block called ThirstyAffiliates Image. You should be able to easily insert the image with the affiliate link using that block.

Unfortunately, we don’t have an ETA yet when the Quick Add Affiliate Link (TA+) button will be available to the Paragraph block of Gutenberg. Rest assured that we’ll get in touch with you as soon as it is implemented.

    I hope this helps!

Hey, you did add a Thirsty Affiliates Image block! I’ve been needing that. Thank you.
