tab color only after refresh

my 8 tabs have a color,also active and hover color, but on first visit tab color does not show up-only active tab color is seen–the rest are not colored-need to refresh page and walla–color. this happens every time not just once on the first visit. nice plugin otherwise. Thanks for any suggestions
