Tab for Visual Mode has gone missing

    I’m hoping that somebody can help me out. When I go to edit or create a new post, the tab for “Visual” Mode option has completely disappeared. I can still post, but only in HTML mode, which is not desirable.

    I have already tried deactivating all of my plugins and reinstalling 3.2.1, but neither has made an impact.

    Can anyone help?

  • Check that you haven’t disabled rich-text editing within your Profile.

    Yup, that was the problem. It finally clicked that that might be the problem. I resolved it and was coming back here to report as much when I saw your reply.

    Thanks for the fast response. I’m all good now (provided that my disabling and re-anabling of the various plugins hasn’t screwed me up… after disabling them ALL, I realized that I can’t remember which ones were already disabled. D’OH!).
