Tab Shortcodes On Page Load

  • Hi Guys,
    I have tried about 8 tab plugins on WordPress with the Instashow plugin. Instashow works well but the issue is that when combined with a tab plugin, it fails to load unless the tab is open on pageload. I’m assuming this is to do with tab widgets that only load the first/open tab on pageload and thus every tab after the first shows as empty when I insert another instance of the Instashow shortcode.
    Are there any tab plugins that load all tab content on pageload or any javascript I can use to do this?

    A complete guess. The instashow likely has some script that executes on page load. When it doesn’t find its container in the current tab, it gives up. The solution may be to identify what script that is and after the tab containing instashow’s container is loaded, explicitly call that script. This may require a custom script for every page with instashow. Hopefully you don’t have too many such pages.
