I don’t have a link to the page I’m working on because it is not published yet…However, I do have a link to screen shots and explanations that show the issues.

In trying to set up my website based newsletter, I have encountered three issues related to the Tabbed Content & Content Toggle boxes not performing as they should. I am using the Free Ashe Theme by WP Royal.

Everything is explained in detail with screen shots in this PDF on Google Drive…https://drive.google.com/file/d/1BKIaMkb57nyF-CuAtocVpeE_8gKwdkqA/view?usp=sharing

Hi @403laura! Thanks for letting us know.

We’ve been able to recreate #1 on our end and track down its cause. Our upcoming update for the plugin will include the fix for it.

For #2 and #3, have you tried adding the shortcode both inside the tabbed content itself and outside it? Also, have you tried if the shortcode works in a content toggle panel outside any of the tabs? During our tests, the content toggle works fine without the shortcode. However, we’re unable to test the shortcode itself because the plugin where it came from cannot be used locally.

Three options in the content toggle deal with the toggle status of each panel: (1) there’s one that sets whether or not it’s closed when the page is loaded, (2) one that limits the number of open panels within the same group to one, (3) and one that ensures that panels will always be open when it’s open. None of the options could be set to ensure that a closed content toggle panel would always be closed.

Thank you for your response. Just a couple things…
When will your update be released? I look forward to seeing the right colours on my tabs ??

I have used the shortcode on multiple ocassions without the tabs & toggles and never experienced any problems with it. This brings me back to something you mentioned about “not being able to test the shortcode because the plugin couldn’t be used locally”…

As far as I know, the shortcode feature I use isn’t a plugin, but rather built into the WordPress Blocks that are freely available when an account is created.

I haven’t tried the toggles outside the tabs because the tabs are what separate the information…kind of like a filing system, which keeps things organized. I can try it but that’s not how I want the information to appear.

If none of the options on the content panel keep the toggle boxes closed, then why won’t it open when I click on it in the preview screen? And why do the toggles disappear between the edit screen and the preview screen…when the way I set them up is identical to the first 4 set of tabs and toggles in the container?

Hi @403laura! The plugin that generated the shortcode you’re using, despite being freely available in the WordPress plugin directory, is restricted to users who register in the developer’s website and limit the number of sites that could use the plugin for each user. I’ve been unable to add any website whatsoever to the list, and thus was unable to test if it affected our blocks at all.

Anyway, we’ve released a new update that includes a fix for the displayed colors for the tabbed content. Please update to the latest version, then share a link to a page that has issues with both the content toggle and the tabbed content block (if the update doesn’t fix them).
