Tabbed Section (From Slider Banner + Tab Section) In Sidebar?

  • I may not want to keep the Slider (as the image size is very large) but I would like to use the Tabbed Section (Latest, Popular, Trending) in the sidebar.

    I looked through all the Theme Widgets, but while the “AR: Tabbed Posts” is close it’s still different (and somewhat broken), and the code for the Tabbed Section to the right of the Slider seems to be for exTab2, which is not available as an individual widget.

    Is there a section of code I can use to create my own Tabbed Section widget, or insert into an HTML Widget to get the same effect on the sidebar?
