Table Block

I am still learning to use WP (few weeks old). I am using 2×2 Table Block to structure my content. The left column is for headers, the right column for details which can run into multiple sentences. There is an option of Fixed Width which results in waste of space in the left column while the right column wraps around several times. The other option is to have variable width columns in which case the width of the left column is only a character wide resulting in excessive wrap around. In both scenarios, the readability suffers. Is there a way I can control the width of columns the way we do in MS Excel or MS Word Tables?
