I really really really tried to figure this out without bothering you.

I can’t for the life of me get a chart to display. I can get a table to display.

Here is the page: https://www.keywesttravelguide.com/key-west-tourism-statistics/ (I also have another chart plugin on that page, and i’m hoping to remove it when I get your plugin working right. I’ve tried disabling that plugin, but it didn’t solve the problem)

These are the shortcodes I’m using:

This displays the table just fine:

But I immediately after want a Column chart, and this shortcode won’t display anything. (I beg your forgiveness….I’m out of ideas after playing with every chart option and query option):

Clue: I notice this error in my Chrome debug tool: jquery.dataTables.min.js:65 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘aDataSort’ of undefined

You did very well, you just need to pay closer attention to %5D%5D 0, "desc" %5D%5D part. You have the %5D escape sequence at both the beginning and end, a mistake. %5D is the equivalent of ], whereas %5B equates to [, which is what you actually need at the beginning of that snippet.

Still not working right.

Changing to this (using %5B%5B at the beginning) has caused the sorting and no-datatables to not work and column chart will not display:

isn’t displaying any of its described charts. Not sure if that’s indicative of a probby.

I just figured out that the source spreadsheet had empty columns and rows. Once I deleted those, the charts started to appear. ??

?? Glad to hear you figured out the issue. The Google Chart API is indeed very strict about the format of the source spreadsheet.
