Table editors

    In the latest version, there is no horizontal scrollbar in the table editor.

    The mobile editor looks completely weird and is unusable. It used to be difficult, but you could work with it with patience but now you simply cannot navigate.

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    I’m not really sure what you mean with “mobile editor” here. Do you mean the “Edit” screen for a table when opened from a smartphone?
    If so, thanks for letting me know about this! It seems that a recent WordPress update changed some CSS code which now results in this behavior. I’ll look into it and try to find a fix for it in TablePress!

    Yes, sorry. That’s exactly what I meant. Opening the editor on a smartphone. I don’t do this very often, but useful sometimes for putting latest scores up when you are at an event for example

    thanks for the clarification!
    I did indeed find a piece of code in WordPress that’s likely causing this. It should always take effect when the screen gets smaller than 600px width. Could you therefore please check if this issue happens when you hold the phone in landscape mode?

    It’s exactly the same. The css does not switch whatever orientation you hold the device (iPhone 8).

    Yes, it’s never going to be great on such a small screen, but I use the smartphone editor every now and then when I can’t get to a PC
