Table format for categories list

I have tried i sort the event categories in a structured table format such that the categories look “sorted”. The reason i cannot use single ids in the tables is because the category listing is being used in manny locations of the website so adding a new category should reflect on all the areas. I have tried the table format but its not coming to my expectation.
