table looks fine in the visual editor but not when published

  • I am putting a table on a page and it looks fine in the visual editor. When looking at it either once published or previewing it is not correct. Specifically I am looking to have the entire table centered as well as the text within a cell.

    I am using the TinyMCE Advanced plugin.

    any help would be great. I am a novice with wordpress to say the least.

  • Previewing a post and a published post use your active theme’s style for, in this case, displaying tables … the visual editor uses its own (usually generic and different) style.

    You will have to look at your theme’s stylesheet to find how it is presenting tables and adjust accordingly.
