Table of Content Error

Me too! version 1.22.0
It works in the Gutenberg edition but not on the post.

Ver 1.22.0

Roll back temporally to v 1.20.1. Issues with table of content :
– v 1.21.0 : Only title appears
– v 1.21.1 : Title appears with error below “Add a header to begin generating the table of contents”. It works in edition mode, no for End user.

Luckily, I’m not alone.

I’m having the same issue. The TOC shows itself in the editor, but not live on my websites

We have fixed and released an update to resolve this issue. Please update to the latest version to see if it helps. ??

I have updated it but it is still not working properly on the front end.. Unable to click on drop down button and open up.

I can confirm that the TOC does not open with 1.22.1 (using generatepress theme)

If you make the TOC collapsible, it doesn’t expand.
If you don’t make it collapsible, it will appear as collapsible and then expand causing huge layout shift.

It happens even with Astra, is not that funny?

The problem is still not fixed even after disabling JS minify and JS combine it didn’t worked properly.

Morevoer, we can’t afford to turn off page speed settings. So please find proper solution and fix it asap.

We have checked the same at our end and it seems to be working fine. We have created a video for you, please have a look at this video.

Could you please deactivate your plugins and check if it is working for you or not?

After I have updated the Ultimate Addons for Gutenberg! plugin, the table of contents function is not working properly. It is showing some error in native language (Hindi, Bengali etc.) blogs….

It is showing something like “???????????????????”..
