    Hello,

Since the recent updates I have multiple issues with the table of contents of Gutenberg Addons.

First of all, its all translated into ”table of contents” in stead of the custom name i gave it. When I change it now, its all good. But at all the previous pages its now called table of contents. This is a problem because I want to show it in my own language.

The second problem is that the reusable blocks are all showed now, wich wasn’t the case before.

And last, the H1 title is now showed at all the table of contents that I added. This is only the case in the Hestia theme. When I switch to Generatepress the H1 is not showed. I dont want to show the h1, because it changed the design of all table of contents.

For now, is there a solution to this? For example, can I change all the block at once?

I know that I could change the TOC at each page one by one. But I have far more than 1000 pages, so I don’t really want to do that. I think I would delete the plugin then.

  • Hello @765casper ,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.

Below are the answers to your queries:

1] If you haven’t change it in the backend then you just need to update the page to get your custom title.

Please try this once and let me know if that works.

2] Yes, we have added support of all headings present on-page and have removed the limitation of core and advanced heading from the Table of Contents.

Also, now users can use the table of content as a reusable block on multiple pages.

3] I’m not sure if you want to remove specific H1 from the Table of Content block or all H1.

But if you’re trying to remove a specific H1 then you can add our exclude class to that H1 heading.

    Please refer to this document.

I hope that helps. Let me know how it goes.

    Regards,

    Thanks for your reply @swetakumari,

1] Do you mean change the title on the page and then update it?

Just update the page is not enough, but when I change the title then its good. But the point is that it would mean that I have to change it on 1000+ pages..

3] I want to remove all H1 titles, because it didn’t show up before the update and now all my TOC looks diffrent than before.

I know that I can eclude it on specific pages, but that would mean that I would have to do this on each page separately..

    Hello @765casper ,

1] Yes, you have to change the title on the page and update it.

I know this is time-consuming. But this is only a way to fix it.

2] Have you disabled the H1 from the backend?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Regards,
    Sweta

    Thanks for your reply.

I know I can disable the H1 in the settings, but same for this I ment to disable it at all TOC’s at the same time..

I think there should be an option to change all the TOC’s at one time.

I guess I just fix it on every page, or delete the plugin then.

    Thanks for your time!
