I’m having a problem with the Table of Contents block.

It works fine when I am logged in to the backend, but fails to work for the visitors of the site. I have tried all sorts to get it to work but I am now at a loss and would love you to take a look and see what the problem is.

This is clearly a very useful block, but only if it actually works.

    Thanks,

    Adam

    Hello @adamkirk ,

We suspect that there might be some cache issues.

If you are using any cache plugin on your site, you should purge the cache afterward to ensure that any changes made to the code, files, or the outward appearance of the website go into effect on the next HTTPS request.

The clearing of browser cache is only something you can do for your own device. You can clear cache for your WordPress site from the History or Settings tabs. Once selected, navigate to the “Clear Browsing Data” section. I would suggest you kindly refer to this article for more information that will help you to understand how to clear browser cache.

    I hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Hey Sweta,
Thanks for this. I have tried that and it does work… for a while.
I cleared the cache straight after receiving your response and the quick navigation boxes worked.
However, I’ve gone onto the site again this morning and they’ve stopped working again.
It doesn’t seem reasonable to clear the cache every day to keep them working so do you have any idea what’s causing them to stop?
    Thanks,
    Adam

    Hello @adamkirk ,

Could you please open a ticket with us from here by sharing more details of your site, so that we can have a closer look?

It seems like the cache plugin is causing the issue.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
