    Hello,

first of all, I really like the plugin. But for testing purposes I sometimes disable plugins. Also wp security. The plugin has put a prefix to my database table.

Now my question is, if I disable (or uninstall) the plugin, will this have any effect on my database/table/…? Not sure if it is safe to disable or uninstall now.

    Many thanks in advance!

    Nick

  • Hi Nick,

Database prefix is stored in WordPress configuration file (wp-config.php). When you request the plugin to change it, it writes new prefix to this file, so any change of the prefix is persistent (ie. it doesn’t matter if you disable or uninstall the plugin afterwards).

    Cheers,
