    Hello there,

    I hope that you are well.

    I have just donated and purchased the add-on DataTables Buttons.

    My only concern is if I can download pdf versions of my tables including the custom CSS code I have applied on the elements on them.

    Now, this seems to download my tables in plain text format.

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Unfortuantely, I’ll have to disappoint you here. The PDF export button will only be able to extract the text content of the table and add that to the PDF. It can not apply your custom CSS code in the PDF file.

    If this is a big problem, just let me know, and I’ll refund the donation.

    Thanks for this.

    I understand, no problem.

    No need for a refund since I am using table press for some years now and your code has saved me tons of hours of work.

    I guess I will have to find a workaround as concerns the pdf export.

    If you are aware of any plugins or programs that could help me export this part of the page (tables) in pdf, you are welcome to let me know.

    Hi George,

    thanks for your contribution to TablePress, I really appreciate it!

    Unfortunately, I’m not aware of other solution to get your table as a styled PDF like that. The best way might be to use the browser’s print function to generate the PDF and then offer that for download to the site visitors.
