Table seems to have locked

same for me ??
I followed the exemple and call the add_db_table_editor function in the function.php file.
Did I omit something? a js to call maybe?

Hi guys, it seems that issue occur when the name of the primary key is not ‘id’, the plugin switch in a non edit mode.
Try with a table having his primary key named ‘id’ and that should works

Actually just figured it out… fortunately for me my site is new so changes are easy, but this may not be the case for some of you.

the primary key for me was set to “slug”, but if I changed that to “id” in my sql table, the plugin worked.

I thought the “id_column” option was designed to fix this – nope.

So change your primary key to “id” in your sql table, and all should be well… assuming that doesn’t break other parts of your code.

hehehe btw the ‘id_column’ feature was added just for this ticket and that seems to be working, so we don’t have to change the database.
Just add this argument to the plugin call ‘id_column’=>’my_custom_id’
exemple:

add_db_table_editor(array(
    'title'=>'test',
    'table'=>'test',
    'sql'=>'SELECT * FROM test',
    'id_column'=>'test_id',
  ));
