• When creating a table I don’t get a full set of settings, ie no border choices. I have updated and re-updated WordPress and Graphene theme, have disabled all plugins, have dumped my browser cache, and am still only offered a choice of font size and colors. I would prefer not to add code, just want to specify borders etc using the block settings.

  • Do you have the latest WordPress 6.2 and do you use the block editor included there? Then I see these options for the design of tables:

How does it look with you at the table block?

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I’ve updated to WordPress v 6.2 and also updated the Graphene theme. I’ve disabled the Classic editor , want to use only blocks now, and when I insert a block the settings choices show only color and typography. Mine stops before it gets to Dimensions or Border.

I did read one suggestion that clearing my cache and re-updating might help …. it did not.

Change the theme to TwentyTwentyThree. Are the options there then? If yes, then the lack of Graphene is due to Graphene and you should contact their support.

I’m nervous about a major theme change….. is this something I can do and then get back to Graphene without upsetting anything on our site?

A theme change is usually unproblematic. Settings are saved separately. A change back is easily possible.

If you are still unsure, make a backup of the project. If something should go wrong, you can restore the backup. Alternatively, you can also set up a development system parallel to the live system and test it there.

Thanks, good suggestions all. I’m willing to bet this is a Graphene problem, another site that uses a different theme that a friend monitors does not have this trouble. I will think a bit and decide what to do.
