In looking to optimise various database tables, I have discovered that:

    wp_mailpoet_statistics_newsletters has 430,697 records

    wp_mailpoet_scheduled_task_subscribers has 457,680 records

    wp_mailpoet_statistics_opens has 188,013 records

    wp_mailpoet_newsletter_links has 10,616 records

These seem huge numbers to me, I’m sure I read somewhere that WordPress tables shouldn’t be more than a few 1000 records at most.

Why are these tables so large? What do they do? I cannot find any tools to reduce them within the plugin.

And more to the point, how can I reduce their sizes?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @zimbo000, yes these tables contain large quantities of data. Removing them will prevent your MailPoet stats from working. Their sizes shouldn’t be a problem for your host/server and MailPoet is well optimized to work with all those records.
