• The embed code from 500px wraps the image in a table.
My visual editor strips the table and td tag, leaving only an inline tag, which forces me to encolse the entier code in a div (or a p, or something else with block display).
Is it possible to avoid table tags being stripped?

  • Not if you insist upon switching from the HTML tab to the Visual tab. Pick a tab and then stick to it.

Thank you, but this is not a good solution. I use the visual editor to apply styles and have a quick preview.
It would be uncomfortable to have to stick to a tab. Moreover, I can’t exclude to have to edit a post in the future and have to do it through the visual editor.

It’s a known issue with the TinyMCE editor and there’s ultimately nothing we can do about it. You could try looking at some of the editor plugins but I couldn’t guarantee that some of them won’t suffer from a similar problem.
