I am using the tablepress responsive tables plugin and I am having an issue with the width of my table. The embed is currently set to:
    [table id=100 responsive=flip responsive_breakpoint=”tablet” /]

When the responsive styling kicks in, the table stops condensing at the tablet breakpoint, so it blows apart my responsive layout. I dont want the table to be any wider than the page container. My attempts to fix this with CSS have not worked. How do I contain it so it doesn’t blow up my layout?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

I’m not really sure why this happens, but I actually think that the flip mode is not a good choice for this table anyways: Not only does the table have multi-line content (which would require manually setting the row height with CSS, for the table header row on the left), but due to the length of that text and line breaks being removed, the scrolling looks odd.
Would the scroll mode work instead?

    Regards,
    Tobias
