    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

No, this does just mean that your site has reached its available PHP memory limit. The reason for this might be that you are using many plugins already, so that your current PHP memory limit is not enough.
You could try to increase it by following: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP

Now, if you have many tables in TablePress, this might also be part of the problem. In that case, it could help to update to the current development of TablePress, which you can get from https://tablepress.org/download/tablepress-dev.zip
Just replace your current “tablepress” folder with that from the ZIP file. The development version contains some enhancements to decrease the amount of used memory, especially for sites with many tables.

    Same problem with DEV version.
I think I need 64Mb or high to run this plugin…

    Hi,

yes, you’ll then need more than 64MB, but this is not a problem of TablePress. More, it’s a combination of the number of plugins you are using and of what they are doing.
If you are lucky, it might be enough, to deactivate some other plugins, to reduce the amount of consumed memory.

However, also the number and size of your TablePress tables can influence this. How many tables do you have, and how big are they?

However, you should then only see that error message on the TablePress screens. You said, that you get this immediately after activating TablePress. This means that my first description about the number of plugins is more important here. You should try to deactivate other large plugins, and if possible increase the memory limit.

I’ve got essential plugins, I need every one of them.
So, I’ll review the entire configuration in order to determine memory usage.

    Hi,

yes, that’s going to be necessary then. Sorry for the trouble, but there’s nothing I can do ?? I’m already trying to keep the used memory low, but it won’t go without any…

Cany you still tell me, how many tables do you have, and how big they are on average? That could help to determine where to look for potential optimizations.

Only 2 tables on my website.
    Now the plugin is deactivated.

    Hi,

ok, thanks for that info. The the issue really is from the amount and memory usage of all plugins together. WIth just two tables, TablePress doesn’t use much memory, so you were probably pretty close to the limit before using TablePress already. When you then activated TablePress as well, it just happened that you were pushed over the limit. This would happen with almost every other plugin as well.
You will have to increase the PHP Memory Limit or reduce the number of active plugins, or find those plugins that use a lot of memory.

Sorry that I can’t really help with this ??

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
