Tablepress Indexing

  • Hi,

    I have an issue where relevanssi isnt indexing new content thats added to Tablepress tables unless I Rebuild the index again.
    Is this normal behaviour or a bug?

    It’s normal. You don’t have to do a full reindexing; saving the post that has the table is enough.

    When the table is modified, Relevanssi does not trigger because there’s no link between the table and the post with the table. Relevanssi only reindexes the post when the post is saved.

    It is possible to create a function that runs when you save a table, checks which posts have the table and reindex those posts. However, that’s a little complicated because TablePress does not store the information, so you have to search for the posts with the matching shortcode.
