Tablepress menu not showing up

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Most likely, this means that some plugin (e.g. “User Role Editor”) has somehow changed the TablePress capabilities from your user role.

I suggest that you try to restore them with a plugin like Members (from https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/members/ ) which has a nice User Manager component. You can find the relevant capabilities in this thread: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/tablepress-admin-capabilites-problems

If that does not help, please let me know. It might then be a good idea, if I take a direct look at this on your site.

Hi Tobias,

This issue has come up on many threads and it is not a solution in your frequently asked questions section. I have now plugged in Members and checked for any roles that might have been disassociated from the plugin but I don’t even see the roles for

Tried the following:

• Change theme to 2011 – no joy
• Deactivate all plugins – no joy
• Install Members, check roles – no joy

Is there something else I am meant to be checking? I don’t know what else might have changed the roles, other than this new theme I am using.
