    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

The fix with the options.php is the best way to fix this. Can you maybe explain where exactly you are having problems with that?

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi,

yes, I understood that. ?? I mean, what problems do you have with the suggested fix with options.php? What exactly are you not understanding in it?

    Hi,

    ok, please try these instructions:

My assumption here is that the access rights for TablePress where not set properly, so that we’ll have to do that manually.
For that, please surf to https://example.com/wp-admin/options.php (with your domain, of course), and scroll down to the “tablepress_options” option. In that textfield, you should see a number 29 as the “plugin_options_db_version”. Change that number to 0 (be very careful to not break the surrounding quotation marks etc.), and click the “Save” button at the bottom of the page.
That should reset the capabilities, so that the admin menu entry should appear again.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi,

so, you are saying that there is no “tablepress_options” option? That would be strange… Are you sure that TablePress is activated on the “Plugins” screen?

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi,

thanks for that screenshot! As it seems, TablePress is not installed on this site, but only the TablePress Extension that adds features for responsiveness to the plugin.
Please go to “Plugins” -> “Add New” and search for “TablePress”, and then install the plugin.

    Regards,
    Tobias
