Hi! First of all, thanks for this amazing plugin! It’s really awesome.

I want to know if I can classify my tables into categories. Is this possible with tablepress? If this is not possible, can I make this request?

    For example:
I create some categories exclusively for tablepress: Finance, Classifications, Users, whatever… Then, when I create a new table, I can specify a category for this table. Similar with posts in wordpress. Pretty simple (I think).

    Thank you!

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

No, sorry, TablePress does not support categories at the moment. I do have this on my list for the future, but it does not have a high priority at the moment.
If you want, you could do “pseudo-categorizing” by adding a prefix to the table IDs (which don’t have to be numbers, but can be strings). For example, you could change your table IDs to

    foo-1
    foo-2
    foo-3
    bar-1
    bar-2
    bar-3
    bim-1
    bim-2
    bim-3

to get some kind of categories.

    Regards,
    Tobias
