Tablepress with AMP not fully compatible

Correct, TablePress is not AMP-compatible.

I did actually work on a prototype extension to make it compatible: https://github.com/westonruter/amp-tablepress

However, I’m not maintaining it.

A workaround would be to display the table from TablePress in an amp-iframe and make it resizable: https://amp.dev/documentation/components/amp-iframe/#iframe-resizing

Unfortunately it is not possible for the AMP plugin to do that work for them. It is the other way around: plugin authors, such as TablePress, must make their products AMP compatible. If they are interested in making their product AMP compatible and making their users like you happy, we can support them by answering their questions.

To give you more context: AMP pages cannot have 3P Javascript or excessive CSS (you can learn more about these restrictions here: https://amp.dev/documentation/guides-and-tutorials/learn/spec/amphtml/). Therefore, a plugin like TablePress would have to ensure their functionality works properly on AMP pages by adjusting to these restrictions.
