    Hi,

    thanks for your post.

No, this is not possible, sorry. TablePress can only import tables from CSV, HTML, and JSON formats, as described in the section “Import and Export Formats” in the documentation at https://tablepress.org/documentation/

    Thanks for the reply Tobias!
    Great plugin btw.

The data format offered by clixgalore can be dowloaded as CSV. However I was wondering if the CSV is live? if they change prices for a particular product will that change be reflected in TablePress. Sorry as I am a total noob.

    Cheers,

    Hi,

no, the import will not be “live”. I will be done just once, i.e. there’s no permanent “connection”.
There’s however a TablePress Extension that can be configured to periodically re-import a table from a file: https://tablepress.org/extensions/table-auto-import/

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

    Hi Tobias,

I am using your Tablepress and so far so good. Even I was wondering of how to integrate a CSV file with my Widget.

    An example – https://www.newtechnology.co.in/iphone-5-price-in-india/

It’s a product review affiliate site and I want to add such a feature on my site too. As you can see there’s a price comparison on the right side and it is updated on its own with the product feed. I was able to create a table with those values but then I realized that the Table will be the same for ALL the posts.

Can we somehow integrate Tablepress (in the sidebar text widget) with the post_IDs AND integrate it with the data feed too?

I really like your plugin and would love to donate to get that feature too.

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the late answer. As I was on vacation, I didn’t have a chance to reply earlier.

To be honest, I don’t really understand. TablePress can only maintain static tables, and if you want different tables in the sidebar of different pages, you will need to use different Shortcodes, e.g. in a text widget that checks the page ID with the help of a plugin like Widget Logic.

    Regards,
    Tobias
