• Hi.

When I have a horizontal table inserted in a post, in AMP the table runs off the page when viewed on a normal smart phone and needs to be scrolled from side to side to see the full contents of the table. The same table when viewed Instant articles is responsive and automatically fits the page width.

If I use columns instead, they are rearranged in AMP into a vertical arrangement but not viewable at all in instant articles.

I would like to be able to use a horizontal table to fit all three formats. Is there any way I can make tables to be responsive to fit within the page width in AMP?

    Thanks

  • I added Genesis column classes (which I think are just bootstrap css) to the custom CSS area of the design settings, then used the appropriate html to create the columns.

I saw somewhere on the wp forums that Tablepress was working with AMP, but maybe not fully…sorry don’t know where the link is.

    Just some suggestions.

I am waiting since the start of AMP for a solution for tables. Table press does not work, too. I asked already a few times for a solution – nothing, not even an answer.

Makes anyhow sense – tables are html – and this is not working with AMP.

Thanks both for your input. I have had no answer to either of my requests submitted to AMP. I will play around further with your suggestions @joycegrace

    Hi @votw,

I apologize for the delay in response.

Can you share the URL where you are facing the issue?

@nancy10199 I am extremely sorry for the inconvenience you have faced.
Can you tell me what issues you are facing with TablePress so that I can check and resolve them?

    Regards
    Marqas
