Tables as meta box in posts?

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

No, something like this is not possible, I’m afraid, and to be honest, I don’t think that I’ll add support for it. In my opinion, tables are “content pieces” which can be added in several places (posts, pages, directly into the theme), through different means (Shortcodes, Template Tags), and they are therefore not tied to a specific post/page, but can be re-used.

That’s why I think, a separate interface to edit them makes much more sense than tying them to a post-edit/post-new screen, where they can instead be added easily via the Shortcode or the “Table” button in the editor toolbar.

Thanks for your quick reply.
I will take a look for myself then since I realy need this functionality.
While for me it wouldn’t be a problem.. For client’s the current method is not user-friendly in my opinion.

For example; This particular client has a lot of products with each their own product specification tables (multiple per product).
To create and manage them all separately and including them within the products is not a good idea.

I will mark this as resolved.
