Tables not appearing in RSS emails in Gmail?

Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

This probably depends on how the plugin that sends those emails works, i.e. where in the context of WordPress it executes.
Which plugin are you using for that?

I can’t really think of a different handling by the email program. That does not make sense and would mean that they received different emails.

Hi Tobias, Thanks for the quick response. I do not believe that there is any plugin involved. The RSS feed is through Feedburner which then pushes to an automated RSS campaign in Mailchimp.

Can you maybe check if the actual RSS feed of your site shows just the Shortcode or if it shows the table HTML?

thanks for checking that!

I can confirm that the HTML code for the table is in that RSS feed. This means that everything there is working as expected, i.e. the Shortcodes are evaluated just fine.

Now, are you sure that your mailing plugin is really using that RSS feed and not some other source for the data?

that feed at Feedburner is also looking good for me, i.e. the table is there, just fine, without any Shortcodes being visible.
I have no clue why Gmail is suddenly showing that Shortcode, sorry ??
