    Started after last update.

I’m getting this as the admin-ajax.php response:

    <HTML><HEAD>
    <TITLE>Service Unavailable</TITLE>
    </HEAD><BODY>
    <H1>Service Unavailable - Zero size object</H1>
The server is temporarily unable to service your request. Please try again
    later.<P>

    </BODY></HTML>

Could this be a resource issue? How much memory does the app need? This is a pretty large site. Also thinking maybe timing out?

    Hi there,

Thanks for getting in touch about this.

Could you try switching the date to today and let me know if the table is then able to load? We’ll know if the analytics request is timing out if you can view today’s data, but not longer timespans like the last 30 days.

Thank you for your response. I should have thought of that, single day loads fine, seven day fails. I’ve tried increasing the execution time to 120 but it still throws same error. It’s failing upstream after 60 sec in Akamai which can not be modified.

Would it be possible to add row amount selection at the top of the table and a default shown rows setting in the settings maybe? or do you know of another solution?

Okay thanks for letting me know that.

Unfortunately, it sounds like the volume of data is just taking too long to load. Could you let me know approximately how many visitors the site gets per month? We have seen some performance issues, starting with sites that get 250K or more visitors per month, but it sounds like your site might be more in the million range?

Adding an option to customize the number of rows shown is a great idea and something we hadn’t considered yet. That should be fairly easy for us to implement and should make the table load faster, especially if it was lowered to the top 10.

We have about 450k a month. Weird thing is that it worked for us fine before the last update which actually fixed an issue we were having with the filter at top not working at all. Now the filter works but the bottom table doesn’t load.

Did you have a full month’s worth of data before this update? I’m wondering if there was only, for instance, 15 days of data being loaded, but now there’s a full 30 days getting loaded causing the table to take longer.

If not, that’s really interesting that this is a new issue as of the latest update. Would you be willing to share an export of your data tables? We could run some tests and see if we can recreate the same issue on a local site. While the data is anonymous, it’d probably best to reach out to us at [email protected] to share the export, just to keep anything private off the forum here.
