Tabs/Accordions slow, laggy in mobile screens

    The tabs work great in a desktop screen, but in a mobile screen there is lag or the accordion is slow and sluggish to respond. It has a jerky movement.

    There should be no lag to the function of the accordion, any fix for this?

    please provide a link to a page on your site where I can see the issue.

    Which mobile devices have you tested the site on?

    Do you see the same issue when the accordion animation is displayed on a desktop machine with a narrow browser window?

    Mobile Device – Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge

    Desktop – No issue in normal desktop view, it was only in Mobile device or mobile screen size view whether on a mobile device or on the Desktop (WaterFox/FireFox) using Responsive Design Mode

    Cause
    I think I found the cause of this issue. This was after I posted the above message. I found the whole page was slow loading, 10 secs.

    I found the iframe Google map calls (many of them) were slowing the whole page down on loading. I did some scripting and altering of the iframe tag to change how the page loads. Too many Google iframe maps, even if they are in the tabs/accordions caused the page to load slow. This I believe likely caused the tabs to react the same way – slow (lag).

    With the fix I did to the page to handle so many Google iframe map calls, I sped up the page load from a slow 10 secs to 3 secs. This I believe had a positive effect on the way the tabs/accordions responded. So now the accordions work much better.
