Tabs Block – What is “Add Tabs child” button for?
-
I’m using the Ultimate Addons for Gutenberg plugin v1.25.4 on WordPress v5.9.3 and when using the Tabs block, I keep seeing a plus button to “Add Tabs child”. I included a screenshot here: https://imgur.com/a/HtUzJhF
My clients keep hitting it by mistake thinking they’re just adding a block to the existing tab child they’re editing. However, as soon as they hit it, the tabs become malformed because there’s a child that doesn’t correspond to a tab button/title.
What is the purpose of this button? Why would you add a tab child without adding a corresponding tab title? And is there a way to disable this because again, if clients don’t wait for the tooltip hover to see they’re adding a tabs child instead of a block, it immediately renders the tabs unusable because they become malformed.
Thanks
