Tabs’ content disappeared after plugin update
-
hi, after the last plugin update the tabs’ content disappeared. I see it on the backend, but on the frontend, it’s just the tab titles and an empty text box below. rolling back to 1.22.2 – everything works fine.

Same problem here. Tab content shows nothing now on frontend.
Hello @goseongguy and @dmitrybedn ,
Sorry for the inconvenience. I have checked the same at my end and it is working fine. I have created a video for you, please have a look.
Could you please share a video with us that points out the issue you are facing?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
SwetaI had this problem. I previously had custom CSS to center the tabs .uagb.tabs__panel. Tabs alignment is now handled in settings (thanks for including this!). I removed my CSS, managed the tabs alignment in settings, and cleared the cache (w3 total). All works fine.
The only issue I had to write new CSS for was to make flex-direction: column for .uagb-tabs__wrap.uagb-tabs__vstyle6-mobile. It’s set to row by default and behaves odd on mobile.
hey, thanks for your reply!
will screenshots do? there’s no option to attach them here, so it’s via a cloud.

backend and frontend 1.22.3:

https://cloud.mail.ru/public/nGuj/cRQXPR7CKi’m not using any css right now. but you know what? after mattschofield’s comment, i’ve attempted to switch off ‘align left’ (the built-in tab aligment setting). if it’s in ‘align center’, the tabs content is back on the frontend (with tabs aligend center obviously).
i would appreciate if you guys fixed that. we all know you are brilliant at it.
thanks.the problem was, I quess, that it was set for ‘align left’ before the update. so now it requires to be cycled (align center then back to align left). then it works fine. i’ll just go and cycle the alignment setting on all the pages.
Nice find! Thanks everyone for sharing.
Hello @goseongguy and others,
That’s really strange! We have tried to replicate the same at our end and everything is working fine.
As you can see in my previous video also, I have not changed any alignment and it is left aligned only and still, it is working fine.
I suspect that there might be some cache issue. If you are using any?cache?plugin on your site, you should purge the?cache?afterward to ensure that any changes made to the code, files, or the outward appearance of the website go into effect on the next HTTPS request.
Also, please make sure to clear?the cache?for your WordPress site from the History or Settings tabs.
If still, it is not working, I’d request you to please open a ticket with us from here so that we can debug it in a proper way and could identify the root cause.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
SwetaTabs just stopped working like tabs. All of the content is displayed in the first tab after the update.
Align center/left doesn’t help.
I am going back to the previous version which apparently was 1.21.0 I don’t know what you changed between this version and the new version that could cause my issue, but I can see in the log that in the new version the tabs were updated
Fix: Tabs – Nested tab layout breaking all the tab functionality.
Fix: Tabs – Tabs body generating multiple times.
Fix: Tabs – Tab Anchors in the page link Are Ignored. This is my current setup if you want to test it. I don’t have more time to test if out of the current setup would work or not, and honestly, if it would work I wouldn’t bother to rebuild anything from scratch. That was a good exercise(I guess) I don’t think I would click the update button again. Cheers

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.
Can you please open a ticket with us from here so that we can debug further?
Looking forward to hearing from you.

SwetaHi @swetakumari
As I said I went back to 1.21.0 and don’t have time to dig more into it but shared the combination of blocks that I am using. Other than there is nothing that could create complications – its full-width blank design – nothing on it. Everything is built on the page using combination of blocks that control the width of the page and the elements.
Maybe something that you’ve done on the update is not supporting my setup of blocks –
Section Section Tabs Tabs child Advanced Columns - 2 Column1 - text Column2 - image
I checked the ticked submission option before writing this comment, but I find it that has too many requirements, even admin access to the website? So I would rather pass on that.
Also as I restored the previous version of the plugin, this issue does not exist there so I would leave it for a while.
Thanks
Hello @bckwpress ,
I’d like to let you know, those form requirements are not mandatory, you can simply write to us at [email protected] and mention me(Sweta) so that I can quickly check this ticket.
Also, you can create a staging site for us. Here is a link that may help you to create a staging site.
We all have tried to replicate the issue at our end, but we are not able to replicate it at our end and it is really difficult for us to understand the root cause without having a proper look.
I hope you understand.

@swetakumari
Thanks for looking at this!I think my problem with tabs body disappearing came from Asset CleanUp plugin. I’d done a site-wide unload of tabs.js, with exceptions to load tabs.js on the pages I was using tabs. Seems the Asset Cleanup CSS/JS cache needed clearing to work properly with the uagb update.
Hello @mattschofield ,
Thank you so much for your update and information. ??
