Works like a charm when I disable:

    Lightbox 2 Version 2.9.2 | By Rupert Morris https://www.stimuli.ca/lightbox/

However, Lightbox 2 was giving me an alternative functionality to open images onscreen, rather than opening them away from the website page. Are you able to update the plugin so that it doesn’t interact with Lightbox 2? Or an alternative plugin I can use instead of Lightbox 2?

Feels like I am put against the wall: “choose to use Tabs Responsive, or keep Lightbox 2 which I have used for years. Choose one.”

Ok i’ll try my best to make compatible tab plugin with lightbox 2 plugin.

Can you please share em your lightbox plugin download url?

    Thanks

Seems you don’t need to do much, unless you chose to on your own. Following the link to the Lightbox 2 creator, the link redirects to his root URL. Likely he abandoned development, and I looked around in WordPress, and I don’t find Lightbox 2 either.

I have used that plugin for at least 4-5 years.

I just typed Lightbox while searching for alternative plugins. Settled with WP Lightbox 2

There is no issues with Tabs Responsive using that.

UPDATE: Did you just release a new version? I just downloaded it. That was omg-fast!

By the way, Tabs Responsive seems to be the best Tabs plugin alternative I have found after testing several options. I recommend everyone coming across this post to use this plugin.

There is another alternative that gives you a slim down manual version where you have to code tags and stuff (which is bleh for a blogger to deal with), and they charge for the Pro version that does what Tabs Responsive already does for free. So pick Tabs Responsive to do things on the fly without coding things yourself.

I look forward to see your Tabs Pro demo: https://wpshopmart.com/plugins/

Add a Donate button. I’m sure people will appreciate this Tabs Responsive plugin.

I searched for Tab plugins as an alternative to Yootheme’s Widgetkit. I have used that for 3 years, and to be able to upgrade they force you to pay like $59 a year simply to access the download page. Also the version I have, if I plan to upgrade to version 2.x, I have to migrate everything to it because you can’t have version 1.x and 2.x at the same time, and all the work done in 1.x is lost or needs to be migrated one by one.

In that respect, if you add a backup db table exporter and importer into it so that people can manually export/import, that would be an asset for users.

I just moved to a new hosting, and youtheme’s widgetkit is acting up. I can’t edit or create new tabs anymore, and if I edit old entries, they get auto-deleted and lost forever.

I need a reliable tabs alternative, and I think I found it in Tabs Responsive.
