Tabs do not display IE 8

    Hello:

    I’m having the same issue as an earlier “resolved” post — the tabs are not showing in IE8.

    The tabs work great in WP theme 2014 and all of the other modern browsers. I’m only having the issue with IE8.

    I tried deactivating all of the other plugins, but the tabs still are not showing in IE8.

    Any other thoughts on what could be causing the problem? Please advise.

    Lets keep to this thread rather than a duplicate.

    Does it work in IE8 with the twenty-fourteen theme active (not a child theme) and no other plugins active?

    On your other topic, you posted that your dev site is https://23.229.159.207/home/

    Checking your site with IE8, it appears to have a javascript error from ubermenu. I would suggest investigating whether this might be causing other scripts to fail – including tabby.js.

    IE8 did display the tabs when I made the 2014 theme active and disabled all of the other plugins.

    I isolated the conflicting plugin and it’s Ubermenu 3. Do you have any advice how to resolve the conflict between Tabby Tabs and Ubermenu3?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    You’ll need to ask the ubermenu people about the error.

    It looks like the problem might be due to a javascript error in the ubermenu script preventing other scripts from running once the error is encountered.
