Tabs in page template

Hi everyone – I’ve fiddled with this no end and simply cannot get it to work!

What I want is a section in the post template that allows for three tabs, the content for which will be generated via PHP from custom fields.

I’ve tried doing it manually, plugins, domtab etc etc and each and every time it just shows as a list.

If someone could explain in simple terms what might be going wrong, or better yet, what I ought to do to get this working it would be much appreciated!
