Hi, I love the nested elements and have both that feature and flex boxes active.

However I’ve added a tabs widget and the titles appear correctly when editing and previewing ie next to each other on desktop and tablet. But when I log out or view the page in a different browser they completely change and appear stacked – even on desktop – and look really ugly – as in the link.

In addition, inside the tabs are a video and shortcodes (for forms). They work intermittently – sometimes showing up but on refreshing the page they often disappear.

I’ve read that there have been issues with these nested items but read that the latest update fixed the issues. I have the latest update for all plugins.

All help, workarounds or advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

    Hi, @casket21.

Thanks for reaching out to us, and we’re glad to hear you’re loving the nested elements feature.

By default (except in mobile view), the tabs should line up next to one another as in the following example: https://prnt.sc/0p_jUhHCi3wt. I recommend checking the breakpoint setting under the Tabs Additional Settings as this value will determine when the tabs “stack”: https://prnt.sc/yYi_A0b1WgUn.

If that doesn’t help, try the troubleshooting steps in the article below (except for the Incorrect Server/WP Configuration section, which is likely not applicable here):

    https://elementor.com/help/changes-dont-appear-online/

You can also try temporarily switching the theme to a default WP theme, to rule out the possibility of a conflict. Since the issue occurs only when logged out, deactivate any login or membership plugins on the site (if applicable) to see if this resolves the issue. If it persists, try deactivating ALL plugins, except for Elementor. If the issue resolves itself, activate each plugin one by one to determine which is causing the conflict.

Regarding the tab items intermittently disappearing, does this happen on all tabs, or just the ones with the short codes? Either way, you can try some of the steps above to troubleshoot this issue, as well. Specifically:

    • Clearing and temporarily disabling caching and/or optimization plugins.
    • Deactivating all other plugins
    • Disabling Elementor features (under Elementor > Settings > Features)

    Hope this helps!

    Kind Regards,
