Tag and Category based archives

Is there a function hook so that the default “Content tagged with” and “Content filed under the” could be changed without having to edit the amt_basic.php file and the code in there?

I want to change it to:

The various articles that have been filed and posted under the category of ‘cat’ available at <site name>.

All of the articles that have been tagged as being related to ‘tag’ available at <site name>.

I know that I could set each and every tag and cat individually but I have quite a bit of them from since 2010 and 1500+ articles.
