Tag Cloud Gutenberg block doesn’t show portfolio tags

Hi there, I notice that the default Gutenberg tags block and tag cloud block doesn’t seem to display any of the tags I’ve assigned to my portfolio items. It works on the blog posts, but not on the portfolio items, so I assume the problem has to do with the fact that the portfolio items use a custom taxonomy. Is there a way to solve this issue?
