Tag cloud style

Hi,

I like how tags are formatted at the bottom of blogs but for the tag cloud using the same format makes for a huge widget (I have a fair number of tags). Most tag clouds show the most common tags in a larger letters on down to the single use tags with the smallest size letters. Is there a way to switch to this style for a tag cloud widget. I would prefer to use a child theme just for this reason but in other post you have stated there is a problems with this (not sure why), is there some other way to do this? Nice theme by the way..
