Can you please clarify are you using the parent ExS theme or one of our child themes?

In case of using one of our child themes you should copy ‘exs/header.php’ file into your child theme and edit it there.

However, we would recommend you to use some of available plugins to add your Google Analytics code. For example:

I’m using the ExS Dark child theme. I found a plugin that inserts into the header, body, and footer… that’ll do. Thank you for responding ??
