  • Hi James

This extra tag is not being put in by the plugin. It may be your theme that is doing it or another plugin you have installed. The way to find out what the cause is, is to revert back to the default twentytwelve wordpress theme. If the tag isn’t removed then disable all your plugins and then add them back gradually.

Do let me know how you get on.

    Hi Meg,

I thought of that right after I posted. So I switched and it was still there which made me then go check the actual page in admin. Sure enough when I copied and pasted it into the WYSIWYG it added the code tag around it. A brain=tired=mistakes issue that should have not have happened but does.

Thanks for your assistance and I hope you have a blessed filled day,
    James
