HI. On my website I saw through PageSpeed Insights that I have some Google Tag Manager code that I would like to get rid of. The Google Tag Manager code comes from Google’s SiteKit plugin. If I disable the plugin, I can’t see Google Tag Manager on PageSpeed Insights. I want to keep PageSpeed Insights. I would like to delete only Tag Manager which I don’t see in Site Kit settings. But I don’t understand what I should delete in order not to create worse problems. In the meantime, I have unsubscribed from Tag Manager (the system tells me that it takes 30 days for it to be deleted from the trash). Thank you very much.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi @corsifotoverona thanks for reaching out. Looking at your website I can see that you have Analytics connected via Site Kit but it doesn’t look as though you have Tag Manager connected. Could I check with you if you are referring to the line below:

    <script type=’text/javascript’ src=’https://www.googletagmanager.com/gtag/js?id=GT-*******&#8217; id=’google_gtagjs-js’ async></script>

This code is used for Google Analytics and the Google tag (GT-) and is not connecting Tag Manager on your site. This is needed for connecting your Analytics and cannot be removed if you wish to use Google Analytics.
