Tag Manager integration

    Hello, Sorry but this question may be simple.

    Using the Google plugin for WordPress. Tag manager is integrated but not used.

    A quick website analysis, found that there are unused tags slowing down the WP installation. Even if tags are not used, is the code still active in the back-end? Website is https://tablemountaincablecar.co.za

    Thanks for reaching out. Site Kit inserts the Tag Manager container snippet into your site, if you’re looking to remove tags or pause the existing tags you can do so by visiting Tag Manager directly.

    The Tag Manager Help Center might also have some useful resources when it comes to assistance with containers and tags.

    Let me know if you have any trouble with removing tags and I can see if I can dig up some useful resources.
