    Hi @doeri,

No worries, this is expected behavior when you’re using a Complianz trigger that fires after consent is provided.

The “Consent” section itself concerns Google Consent Mode. It would start to display information once you’ve implemented Google Consent Mode on your site (https://complianz.io/consent-mode-for-7-0/), as available in the Premium plugin.

    Kind regards, Jarno

I am using a pro version of the Complianz for 3 days. Is the plugin ready for Google Consent Mode V2? Do I need to make any updates regarding the Consent V2? I am using a “GTM4WP – A Google Tag Manager (GTM) plugin for WordPress” with the Complianz plugin.

    Hi @doeri,

Yes, set the Container Code to OFF in GTM4WP settings, and disable the GTM4WP integration integration under Complianz -> Integrations -> Plugins.

After which you can follow these steps, under “Configuring Google Tags with Tag Manager” to integrate Consent Mode V2: https://complianz.io/consent-mode-for-7-0/

I see that the Google consent is working correctly. The number of user though dropped significantly from 100 to 10 per 30 minutes, could these metrics be correct?

    Hello,

Regarding the large decreased number of users as described above, is there a way using Complianz to count all the incoming traffic with the Google consent?

    Hi @doeri,

The difference in Statistics data could indeed be explained by the fact that you’re now obtaining consent before tracking those users.

I’m not entirely sure what is meant by counting incoming traffic with the Google consent, though?

For example obtaining consent after tracking those users? Is that possible?

    Hi @doeri,

I’m still not quite sure how to interpret this, but please note that Complianz is aimed at helping you comply with privacy legislation; and might not suit such tracking purposes.

To track users without obtaining prior consent, it might be more suitable to use a locally hosted/privacy friendly statistics tool for such purposes; e.g. Matomo or Burst Statistics.

    Kind regards, Jarno
