tag users to email them

  • Could I use this plugin to get users to select from a series of pre-defined tags, or also add tags to existing users in order to select them in groups fora mailout via some newsletter plugin?

    I.e I create tags “Football” and “Food” and can email all users separately depending on which tag I chose?

    Yeah, you’ll be able to achieve that easily.

    P.s do you know any good newsletter software!?

    I’m aware of Mailchimp only.

    Just a little detail please.
    I understand that you can show users with the same tag on an external page, but how do you view users with the same preference within the WP User list in the back end? Do I have to write a custom plugin to sort and display this info for me?

    @jezzerisin, Yeah you’d need to add a page which lists all the taxonomies and tags. And when you select a tag, you can fetch a list of users in there.

    Shouldn’t be very hard to achieve that.
