  • In fact I saw your plugin. It’s very impressive to say the least but it follows a different approach compared to mine. Your plugin is obviously for those who want everything and I mean really everything. To be honest it looks so complex that even I didn’t fully understand what this thing does and how it works.

Taggerati is a completely different principle. It’s hassle-free tagging not from within admin panels but from within actual posts. You simply add tags and they work. Remove them and save the post again and they’re gone if they turn out to have been orphaned in the database. The only thing you’ll find in my admin panel is some styling templates and a panel to enter your desired rss feeds for the aggregator page.

Therefore I guess I have a completely different target audience and quite a different approach in terms of usability / complexity.

This is not an attempt to bash your great work, just an explanation of how I’m approaching things differently.

Here’s the thing: you enable UTW, and it will do simple, baseline tagging functionality without any additional changes.

Trust me, the approach is different. You’ll see when it’s released ??

There are many plugin types that have different versions done by different people. It’s a matter of what you want / need that depends the choice of plugin to use.

Since I see this thread still quite often results in referrers in my stats:

Taggerati for WordPress can be downloaded HERE.
